We are now looking for social and experienced, coxswains to be our full-time skipper for Rockfish Catamaran Charters, but also coordinate the management of the fleet, performing various admin-based roles. Your time will be split between time on charter and in our Sydney based office. Your primary responsibilities would be leading charters of up to 43 passengers on our Rockfish Catamaran but also being leading the day to day operations of the vessel in the office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Skipper 3 – 6-hour Seawind Catamarans cruises
• Monitor the safe operation of all vessels
• Ensuring the welfare and safety of all passengers and crew whilst on board and judging weather conditions effectively
• Basic cleaning and maintenance as well as cooking BBQs
• Hiring and training your deckhand crew
• Maintain vessel logs and required paperwork
• Delegate duties to crew and conduct staff training/inductions.
• Ability to direct customers and crew as required.
• SMS compliance and adhere to our operational procedures.
• Manage the inbox daily to attend to all booking & general enquires and organise all forward bookings
• Liaise with direct customers and all our key agent partners effectively
• Ensure all invoicing is managed thoroughly and up-to-date
• Assisting with crew payroll
